What Is Tongue Coating?
Tongue coating is a white, moss-like substance that forms on the surface of the tongue, similar to dead skin cells on the skin. It develops when bacteria and cells from the mucous membrane accumulate on the tongue, causing a whitish appearance. If the coating becomes thick, it can become a breeding ground for bacteria and may contribute to bad breath or aspiration pneumonia. Regular tongue cleaning is therefore important.
Causes of Tongue Coating Build-up
Saliva has a natural self-cleansing function that helps wash away food particles and dental plaque, while also suppressing the growth of bacteria in the mouth. When saliva production decreases due to fasting, illness, medication side effects, dehydration, stress, or ageing, substances that contribute to tongue coating can accumulate more easily, causing the coating to thicken.
1) Hold both ends of the tongue scraper in your hand and insert the curved end into your mouth.
2) Gently scrape the surface of your tongue 3 to 5 times, moving from the back towards the front.
3) Rinse your mouth to cleanse the oral cavity.
* Please avoid scraping your tongue too hard or moving the scraper sideways.
* Children's tongues are delicate, so please use the scraper very gently and avoid applying too much pressure.

・After use, wash thoroughly with water, wipe dry with a cloth, and store in a clean place.
・If the copper surface comes into contact with air and oxidises, causing rust or discolouration, apply toothpaste or lemon juice to a soft cloth and polish the surface to restore it to its original condition.

In general, we ship via EMS, but we also offer FedEx shipping for customers in the United States of America.
Shipping fees are calculated based on the combined weight of the products and shipping box. Shipping fees will be displayed at checkout in your selected currency.

Shipping Timeframe:
All orders are processed within 2–3 business days of receipt, and we typically aim to ship orders within one week.
Our warehouse operates Monday through Friday during standard business hours (Japan Standard Time), excluding Japanese national holidays, during which the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take every step possible to minimize shipping delays.
Packages are not shipped from our warehouse on weekends or Japanese national holidays.
