[What is nigari?]

Nigari is a clear liquid separated from seawater by extracting salt and potassium chloride. It has long been used as a coagulant in tofu production in Japan and is characterized by its rich mineral content, including magnesium chloride - its main component - as well as magnesium sulfate, potassium chloride, and sodium chloride.

While primarily used as a tofu coagulant, its rich mineral content has recently attracted attention as a health and beauty ingredient. The most abundant component in nigari is magnesium chloride. Magnesium is an essential mineral indispensable for human life activities and is said to support the function of over 300 enzymes in the body. It also has the advantage of being easily absorbed through the skin, a process known as transdermal absorption.

Nio Kousan has focused on the characteristic of transdermal absorption of magnesium chloride, working to develop products that help modern people supplement magnesium, which is often lacking today, while bringing about a comfortable and enriched lifestyle.

When bathing, add approximately 15g to 30g of this product to your bathtub (approximately 180-200 liters), stir well, and then get in the bath.
