Organic Masala Chai

Certified organic by JAS.
An authentic masala chai made by blending organic Assam black tea with organic coconut sugar and five spices.
The hint of ginger warms the body, and it can be enjoyed hot or over ice, or with soy milk.

A moment to relax and warm both body and soul, enveloped in the aroma of spices

For the cold season or at the end of a tiring day.
When enveloped in the aroma of spices, your mind and body relax and unwind.
We created this "Organic Masala Chai" to bring you just such a moment.

The base is organic Assam black tea.
To this, we've added organic coconut sugar, which offers a rich depth and gentle sweetness reminiscent of brown sugar.
We use absolutely no white sugar, artificial flavors, or colorants – it's crafted using only the natural aromas and sweetness of the ingredients themselves.

We use five spices: cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, nutmeg, and ginger.
We fine-tuned the blend countless times to ensure each spice's flavor is perfectly balanced, creating a smooth, easy-to-drink tea with a lingering aftertaste.
The ginger's subtle kick warms you from the inside out, while the gentle aromas of cinnamon and cardamom soothe your mind.

A comforting cup of tea created in collaboration with a time-honored tea house

This Masala Chai was developed in partnership with "Tsuboichi Seicha Honpo," a tea house founded in 1860.
The recipe combines the proven expertise of this time-honored tea house, which has been crafting tea for over 200 years, with our commitment to a "natural flavor that fits seamlessly into everyday life."

Made without white sugar or artificial flavorings, we cherish the gentle natural sweetness of the ingredients and the aromatic notes of the spices.
Furthermore, it is certified organic under the JAS standard, making it a perfect choice to easily incorporate into your daily tea time.

About Brown Sugar 1st

"Is this something I would want to feed my daughter?"

That simple question was the starting point for Brown Sugar First.

When I was pregnant during the Great East Japan Earthquake, I often found myself unsure about what was truly safe and healthy to feed my daughter. Each day was filled with uncertainty and anxiety.

As I began breastfeeding, I became even more aware of how directly my own diet impacted my baby's health. It was a powerful realization—and it opened my eyes to the importance of being intentional about what we eat.

That's why every product we create is guided by one clear standard:
"Would I feel good about giving this to my child?"

This question isn't just our beginning—it's our unwavering commitment.
