neroli flower water
Wild Bitter Orange Flower Water
This pure neroli water is steam-distilled from handpicked flowers of wild bitter orange (Citrus aurantium) trees that grow naturally in Morocco. Unlike standard floral waters, which are typically by-products of essential oil extraction, en d'autres thermes distills 1 kg of bitter orange blossoms per liter specifically to create this richly concentrated neroli water—resulting in a product abundant in neroli essential oil.
It offers a delicate floral aroma with a touch of citrusy sweetness and subtle tartness, delivering both sensory pleasure and gentle skincare benefits.
What's neroli?
Neroli is a highly prized essential oil extracted by steam distillation from the blossoms of the bitter orange tree (Citrus aurantium). Renowned for its delicate floral and citrus aroma, neroli is as precious and expensive as rose oil.
The name "neroli" is said to originate from Anna Maria de La Tremoille, the 17th-century Duchess of Nerola, Italy, who famously used the essence to perfume her gloves and bathwater.

nerori flower water
Neroli is the fragrant blossom of the bitter orange tree. Like rose and jasmine, its essential oil is among the most precious in the world, as only a tiny amount can be extracted from vast quantities of flowers.
In Arabic, neroli water is known as "lucky water."
Traditionally in Morocco, it's used in celebratory rituals such as weddings and circumcisions. Poured into a silver mirash (perfume container), it is sprinkled by the hostess at the entrance of the home to welcome guests and offer prayers for their health and happiness.
Modern science has confirmed what tradition long suggested: the scent of neroli stimulates serotonin production in the brain. Serotonin, often called the "happiness hormone," is a key neurotransmitter that promotes mental clarity, emotional balance, and a deep sense of well-being.
This noble, elegant fragrance—beloved even by Princess Diana—is a harmonious blend of gentle citrus zest, delicate floral sweetness, and a subtle touch of bitterness. It soothes the senses and calms the mind.
If you examine the ingredients of many luxury perfumes, you'll find neroli featured prominently. Its sensual, slightly oriental scent leaves a lasting impression.
And while synthetic fragrances are everywhere, those familiar with true aromatherapy often say the same thing upon encountering the neroli of en d'autres thermes:
"This is the real scent… absolutely unforgettable.♡"
