Often called a natural serum, this oil contains jojoba oil, which helps protect the skin from dryness and irritation, alongside oils sourced from Japan and around the world. The oils are cold-pressed slowly to preserve their qualities, then blended together.

It absorbs into the skin without leaving a greasy feel, leaving it feeling soft and moisturised.

The ingredients are organic and sustainably sourced, and the packaging uses upcycled materials.

Product Details

whipp's beauty oil focuses on two things: moisturising the skin and how the oil feels to use.

The ingredients are sustainably sourced. They include sugarcane-derived hydrogenated farnesene, which is also attracting attention as an upcycled ingredient, along with rice bran, camellia, sunflower and tea. Other oils come from Japan and around the world, including jojoba, prickly pear cactus, wild sesame, cacay and macadamia. Methods such as cold pressing are used to extract pure oils while putting as little stress as possible on the raw materials.

Jojoba seed oil is often called a natural serum because it is rich in wax esters. Despite its light texture, it absorbs well into the skin and helps keep it moisturised. Rice bran oil contains high levels of γ-oryzanol*2, a component unique to rice bran that helps prevent moisture loss.

Other ingredients help moisturise and soften the skin, including camellia from Toshima, a remote island off Tokyo; sunflowers grown without pesticides on fallow farmland in Manno, south-western Kagawa; and tea seeds from tea-growing regions such as Shizuoka. Wild sesame, prickly pear cactus and cacay are also used in blends developed by whipp.

The Mixing Oil uses naturally derived plant essential oils. Japanese craftsmanship brings these oils together, making the most of each ingredient and offering a different approach to skincare.

The packaging is made from kome-kami, a paper material that uses rice no longer suitable for eating.

Fragrance

A refreshing citrus scent with a hint of sweetness and floral notes.

Fresh grapefruit and bergamot open the fragrance, with the bergamot bringing a mix of sweetness and bitterness. Powdery lily, sweet jasmine and rose follow, coming together in an elegant floral scent.

Ambrette seed adds a comforting note beneath the freshness, while cedarwood brings a warm, gentle woody scent.

1. Warm an appropriate amount of oil in the palm of your hand, then gently massage it into your entire face, working from the centre outwards.
* We recommend applying an extra layer to areas of concern, such as dry patches.
2. After cleansing, use it as a booster before applying toner; during dry winter months, it can also be used as a finishing oil after your moisturiser.
*If you have particularly dry skin, we recommend using both the mixing oil and a moisturiser in two separate steps.
*Gently massage into areas of the body where you are concerned about puffiness or other issues. For best results, use after warming your body or after warming the mixing oil to body temperature.

Can be stored for up to 3 years unopened.
Once opened, use within 6 months.

1. Pay close attention to your skin while using this product. If you experience any of the following reactions, please discontinue use. If there are any symptoms, please consult with a dermatologist.
(1) Redness, swelling, itching, irritation, loss of skin colour (such as white patches), darkening or any other unusual reaction during use.
(2) Any of these reactions after the skin has been exposed to direct sunlight.
2. Do not use on areas with cuts, swelling, rashes or other skin abnormalities.
3. Keep away from direct sunlight and high temperatures. Close the cap securely after opening.

As this product contains naturally derived ingredients, water may come out during the first few pumps. This does not affect the product's quality.

In general, we ship via EMS, but we also offer FedEx shipping for customers in the United States of America.

Shipping fees are calculated based on the combined weight of the products and shipping box. Shipping fees will be displayed at checkout in your selected currency.

When a package is shipped outside of Japan, it undergoes customs inspection in the destination country and may be subject to taxes or duties depending on local regulations. Shipping Timeframe:
All orders are processed within 2–3 business days of receipt, and we typically aim to ship orders within one week.
Our warehouse operates Monday through Friday during standard business hours (Japan Standard Time), excluding Japanese national holidays, during which the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take every step possible to minimize shipping delays.
Packages are not shipped from our warehouse on weekends or Japanese national holidays.
