As a brand that draws on the blessings of Okinawa's nature, we launched our ethical sunscreen, "Gettou UV Body Veil," in July 2016.
Although this sunscreen has obtained organic certification to global standards, it has been well-received for its high UV protection (SPF50+ PA++++) and lightweight texture. Now, we have developed the Ice UV Veil, a cooling formula available exclusively for the summer season.
It retains all the appeal of the original formula—SPF50+ PA++++ and the highest water resistance rating (☆☆) for sweat and water resistance.
Formulated with natural cooling agents and cooling aromas that intensify the cooling sensation with wind and sweat, it makes reapplying sunscreen on these sweltering summer days a pleasant experience!

RUHAKU's sunscreen was born from the belief that "we should be able to protect both beautiful nature and our skin," driven by a commitment to functionality—rather than simply capitalizing on consumers' kind-hearted sentiments like, "Even if the texture feels a bit off, the SPF is low, or it wears off easily... let's use organic sunscreen for the sake of beautiful nature and the future." We've also added a feature to help you survive today's extreme heat: while blocking UV rays, we've incorporated a formula that helps lower your perceived body temperature.
Since sunscreen is meant to be reapplied frequently, this formula allows you to address both UV protection and heat relief whenever you sweat or need to cool down.

*Shake well before use.
1. Take an appropriate amount onto the palm of your hand and apply it evenly to your arms, neck, décolletage, legs, and other areas.
2. Take another appropriate amount and gently pat it in to build up coverage.
3. The texture feels smooth and non-greasy on its own, but if you're concerned about stickiness, you can apply your favorite body powder over it.
*It can generally be removed with soap. Before washing, gently rinse with lukewarm water. If you find it difficult to remove, please use a cleanser.
*If applied to dry skin, the sunscreen ingredients may penetrate the skin's texture, making it difficult to remove with soap. Therefore, if you have dry skin, we recommend moisturizing before application.

In general, we ship via EMS, but we also offer FedEx shipping for customers in the United States of America.
Shipping fees are calculated based on the combined weight of the products and shipping box. Shipping fees will be displayed at checkout in your selected currency.

When a package is shipped outside of Japan, it undergoes customs inspection in the destination country and may be subject to taxes or duties depending on local regulations. Shipping Timeframe:
All orders are processed within 2–3 business days of receipt, and we typically aim to ship orders within one week.
Our warehouse operates Monday through Friday during standard business hours (Japan Standard Time), excluding Japanese national holidays, during which the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take every step possible to minimize shipping delays.
Packages are not shipped from our warehouse on weekends or Japanese national holidays.
