This carefully crafted brown rice tea (genmaicha) blends organic green tea with young rice stems and roasted domestic organic Koshihikari brown rice. Made with plump brown rice and sweet, aromatic young rice stems, it brings out a natural sweetness.

Michio Nakai, who began organic farming in 1987, has paid close attention to both ingredients and processing to create a brown rice tea rich in full-bodied umami. The domestic organic Koshihikari brown rice is meticulously roasted and blended with green tea featuring young rice stems to enhance its sweetness and aroma.

Delicious Ways to Enjoy (3 Cups)

Put two light tablespoons (approximately 9g) of tea leaves into a teapot and pour 300mL of hot water (approximately 90°C) into the teapot. Let it sit for about a minute before pouring into teacups.
