Product Details

soel began with our encounter with King Sesame¹ from Sri Lanka.

These sesame seeds are able to withstand Sri Lanka’s harsh climate and are grown without pesticides. To preserve as much of their valuable beauty-enhancing nutrients as possible, we use a cold-press method with no heat applied. The oil is slowly and carefully extracted by hand, without cutting corners, resulting in a high-quality, USDA-certified² sesame oil.

We do not use deodorisation, decolourisation or chemical extraction. Instead, we use only unrefined first-press oil, which yields just 20–30% of the total.

Compared with ordinary sesame oils, it contains higher levels of oleic acid, linoleic acid, vitamin E and minerals, important components for maintaining soft skin.

Its fatty acid composition allows it to blend easily with the skin without feeling heavy or greasy. It helps reduce moisture loss and protect hydration in the stratum corneum, leaving skin feeling soft and moisturised.

It also helps protect the skin from external irritants, making it an easy plant-based oil to incorporate into everyday care.

The formula is made from plant-derived ingredients, with as few unnecessary additives as possible. It is designed to be part of the family’s daily moisturising routine, including for babies and young children.³

* soel’s sesame oil is deliberately left unrefined because we want to deliver as much of its rich beauty-enhancing nutrients to the skin as possible.
This product uses unrefined sesame oil and is scented with natural essential oils. Unlike synthetic fragrances, natural essential oils can be difficult to keep completely consistent, so there may be slight differences between individual products. Thank you for your understanding.

1. Warm an appropriate amount of oil (about 1/3 of a dropper) in the palm of your hand, then gently massage it into your entire face, working from the center outward.
2. Apply an extra layer to areas of concern, such as dry spots.
3. When used as a booster after cleansing, followed by toner, your skin will feel softer, and you’ll notice a difference in the effectiveness of your subsequent skincare routine.
4. During dry winter months, you can also use it as a finishing oil after applying cream.

*If you have particularly dry skin, we recommend using both the sesame oil and cream in two separate steps.
*Gently massage the oil into areas of the body where you experience puffiness or other concerns. It is more effective when used after warming up your body or after warming the sesame oil to body temperature.
