After each day of use, wipe off dirt thoroughly with tissue or a similar substance. Foundation brushes, lip brushes, and eyeliner brushes, which are particularly oily, should be wiped off with tissue or alcohol-free wet tissue after each use. This will improve the brush's durability.
If the tip of the brush becomes very dirty or feels rough to the touch, wash it with soap or shampoo. Soak the tip of the brush in an appropriate amount of shampoo, gently rub it, and rinse thoroughly with hot water. Squeeze the tip of the brush thoroughly with a towel to remove any excess water, reshape the tip, and dry it horizontally in the shade.
