Brown Sugar 1st Introduces MCT Oil

As part of our 10th anniversary celebration, we're excited to launch a long-awaited addition to our lineup: MCT oil—derived from our most popular product, Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil.

This organic coconut-based MCT oil contains approximately 97% medium-chain fatty acids, extracted using a natural distillation process that meets JAS organic certification standards—completely free from chemical additives.

What is Brown Sugar 1st's MCT Oil?

Brown Sugar 1st's MCT Oil is a high-quality, coconut-derived oil developed as part of our 10th anniversary project, based on our best-selling Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. Here's what makes it special:

・Packaged in a Light-Proof Bottle
While MCT oil itself is resistant to oxidation, many common fats and oils can degrade when exposed to light. Our light-proof glass bottle protects the oil from UV rays and light exposure, preserving its quality and effectiveness longer than standard plastic or clear bottles.

・Certified Organic by JAS
As with our Organic EV Coconut Oil, our MCT oil is produced in collaboration with our trusted Thai-Japanese partner. This long-standing partnership is rooted in shared values—respect for the local environment, fair employment practices, and a commitment to craftsmanship. Our MCT oil is extracted using a natural distillation method that avoids chemical additives, fully compliant with Japan’s organic JAS certification.

・100% Coconut Derived
Unlike many MCT oils that are palm-derived, ours is made exclusively from organic coconuts—the same quality source as our popular Organic EV Coconut Oil. It has a mild coconut aroma that’s barely noticeable, making it easy to use in any type of cooking or beverage.

・High Purity: Approx. 97% Medium-Chain Fatty Acids
With around 97% medium-chain fatty acids, our MCT oil is a highly efficient way to incorporate this beneficial fat into your daily diet—ideal for those who want a more concentrated option than Organic EV Coconut Oil.

Mix it into salad dressing, sprinkle it on yogurt, or sprinkle it on top of a finished dish.
Add it to coffee, smoothies, and drinks.

・MCT oil has a much lower smoke point than common vegetable oils. When heated, it will smoke and foam, so it is not suitable for cooking. However, it can be poured over hot dishes or hot coffee.
・Do not use this product in polystyrene containers used for instant ramen, etc. The container may become deformed and the contents may spill out.
・Excessive intake may cause stomach upset, abdominal pain, and excess calories, so first-time users should carefully adjust their intake.

In general, we ship via EMS, but we also offer FedEx shipping for customers in the United States of America.

Shipping fees are calculated based on the combined weight of the products and shipping box. Shipping fees will be displayed at checkout in your selected currency.

When a package is shipped outside of Japan, it undergoes customs inspection in the destination country and may be subject to taxes or duties depending on local regulations. J-Beauty Natural is not responsible for any customs taxes, duties, or additional charges incurred, as these are not included in the shipping fees or product prices.
J-Beauty Natural does not undervalue invoices or parcel declarations, as doing so violates customs laws.

Shipping Timeframe:
All orders are processed within 2–3 business days of receipt, and we typically aim to ship orders within one week.
Our warehouse operates Monday through Friday during standard business hours (Japan Standard Time), excluding Japanese national holidays, during which the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take every step possible to minimize shipping delays.
Packages are not shipped from our warehouse on weekends or Japanese national holidays.

That simple question was the starting point for Brown Sugar First.

When I was pregnant during the Great East Japan Earthquake, I often found myself unsure about what was truly safe and healthy to feed my daughter. Each day was filled with uncertainty and anxiety.

As I began breastfeeding, I became even more aware of how directly my own diet impacted my baby's health. It was a powerful realization—and it opened my eyes to the importance of being intentional about what we eat.

That's why every product we create is guided by one clear standard:
"Would I feel good about giving this to my child?"

This question isn't just our beginning—it's our unwavering commitment.
