White Sauce

The rich flavor of our homemade bouquet garni

This powdered white sauce is crafted using a traditional method of slow cooking over an open flame. It easily enhances stews, gratins, and a variety of other dishes—just dissolve it in water or milk for a smooth, flavorful base.

・Luxurious ingredients and a special recipe
Flour, domestically grown onions, ginger, and garlic are gently sautéed in a blend of olive oil and rice oil infused with the aroma of bouquet garni—a unique mix of herbs including bay leaves, sage, cloves, and thyme. This careful process is done over an open flame, ensuring the ingredients do not brown.

The seasoning is enriched with domestic chicken bouillon.

Next, generous amounts of natural cheese made from raw Hokkaido milk are added and further cooked. Finally, a blend of spices and domestic skim milk powder is mixed in. The sauce is then allowed to rest overnight before being finely ground.

The result is a smooth, creamy white sauce that preserves its pure white color and rich flavor.
